The Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) began rotating strikes in Pickering, Ont., at 4 a.m.; Oshawa, Ont., at 6 a.m.; Thunder Bay, Ont., at 1 a.m.; and in Brandon, Man., at 12:01 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 29 and in Winnipeg, at 10:00 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 28 (local times).

Mail and parcels will not be delivered or picked up in the impacted areas while the union continues their strike activity. Canada Post continues to operate across the rest of Canada.

We remain committed to arriving at a negotiated settlement with CUPW, while making every effort to minimize the impact of any disruption on the customers we serve.
